Lisa Joy is an industry veteran whose make-up philosophy and artistry results in comments like: “You look beautiful” rather than “What a great make-up job”. She focuses on downplaying the negatives and enhancing her client’s positives features while maintaining a natural feel to the overall make-up. Job satisfaction comes from seeing a bride at her best or a TV personality have the professional look appropriate to their field of work.

As a freelance make-up artist for MAC, she has been trained by MAC in the use of their products and philosophy as well as current make-up trends. She is also a California licensed cosmetologist. She specializes in beauty make-up for weddings, photography, TV and camera work.

Lisa Joy has an extensive portfolio of published work as seen in “BridgeAgain” magazine and Maly’s “The Salon Professional”.

Based in Southern California, Lisa Joy is available to travel throughout the Western United States for on-site make-up artistry. As an independent contractor, clients will receive Lisa Joy’s services directly as well as any additional assistants requested.
