In ancient times, the eyes were thought to be a source of magic, a window of the soul. With this in mind, at your wedding you will want your eyes to reflect your joy and not the frenzied weeks of preparation and stress you've experienced. Here are some easy to Implement ideas that will heip you enhance your eyes and their natural beauty.

Using Shimmery Makeup

Shimmery make-up continues to be popular. The selection includes glittery eye shadows (to make your eyes sparkle), shimmery powders (to make your skin glisten), liquid face illuminizers (for all over glow), and glistening lip glosses (for luscious lips). This type of make-up is beautiful, especially for the holidays and outdoor evening weddings. Shimmery make-up reflects light and draws attention to your face. It can highlight your best features or, unfortunately, your worst. If you have oily skin, shimmery make-up will only emphasize the problem. You're asking for double the trouble applying "shine to shine" which will make your skin appear oilier than it really is. Stay away from shimmery liquid face illuminizer and powder. Use shimmery eye shadow and glistening lip gloss to draw attention to your eyes and lips while keeping your skin matte looking.

Keep shimmery powders and particles of reflection away from underneath your eye area where dryness and fine lines often appear. The reflection of shimmers will draw attention, making lines and dryness more noticeable. When applying shadow, place a tissue under the eyes to catch any particles.

Concealing Dark Circles

Step 1 Always prep the skin by cleaning and moisturizing.

Step 2 Apply basic foundation to even out skin tone.

Step 3 Use an orange-based corrective concealer directly over the discoloration. Apply the concealer with a small synthetic brush and blend by pressing gently with your ring finger.

Step 4 Sparingly apply a concealer (one matching your skin color) directly over the corrective concealer. Smooth and blend.

Step 5 Determine if there is too much make-up by smiling and squinting. If the make-up appears heavy, remove the excess by gently pressing and smoothing out the make-up with your ring finger.

Step 6 Set make-up by dusting very lightly with a matte translucent powder. Over application of powder will settle in, making lines and dryness more prominent.
